Tundra Biome

 


  • The tundra is the coldest of all the biomes. 

  • The tundra biome receives little rain—even less than the desert. 

  • Temperatures are very cold/frigid in the tundra biome. 

  • Plants and animals that live in the tundra have adapted to the harsh climate.


Task: Collect 5 animals with their names who live in Tundra biomes.

The tundra biome is an ecosystem located in the north pole. The biome surrounds the arctic circle and is the coldest biome of all on earth. The normal temperature is below -34 degrees. The tundra biome is in the north pole which means there are lots of animals that live in the north pole like the animals above.
