The Production at AGGS

 On Tuesday the 27th of july we went to aggs for a production.  The name of the production is "Footloose".  In the morning we had reading then after reading we had our lunch and after we had lunch we went on the buses with our classes. Once we got there we walked into there theater and sat in our spots.  I sat on the left side in the front the people sitting next to me were Nature and Marytina.  I would say that the production was romantic and funny.  The main characters were Red and Arial.  My favourite part of the production was when Red saved Arial from her abusive boyfriend chuck.

What we did on Wednesday

On wednesday was a very busy day for team 5. Two sports teams and the kapa haka group left the school once they left the rest of the people finished of there reading class. Then after morning tea we did Maths then the kapa haka group came back and hoped right into maths. For reading we wrote about a ruler,denny's and the state of origin game. After lunch we did cybersmart challenge number #15. While we were doing our cyber smart some people got chosen to do there art work about matariki.During reading we had to write about the photos I talked about before I shared my ideas with the girls on my table then some people were picked to read out what they wrote. But before she could pick any of the girls on my table it was time to go out back to class and have morning tea.One sports team was rugby and the other group was basketball. Before we went off to our home class and did cyber smart we had a prayer time. During the prayer time we had to sing a song which is called Fa'afetai and someone has to do a prayer which was lesieli. Last group was KPMG they had a tour around the office.

So Today I chose to write about the elephant that got rescued from a well. The well was covered in bushes but there was no wall or fence to cover it up. Then a man came to see what the loud noise was and it was the elephant that fell in the well. They used a crane to life the elephant up but the people said that two other elephants fell in the well in the past.

My Highlights from last week

So last week on wednesday the year 7s went to Matheson bay with a few teachers. One of my highlights was with Miss Hill on friday we were making truffles.My second highlight was on wednesday with the volunteers when we were snorkeling. And my second to last favourite highlight was on Friday after launch we had a movie on and ate lollies. Now for my last highlight was with Miss Stone we had to work as a team and get the ball into the cup.

Trip to Matheson bay

 Yesterday I went to Matheson bay with some teachers and year 7 students. My Buddie for the bus was Kamryn. I learnt that if the water was cold then the fish will die from heat. When we were snorkeling I looked down in the water and saw kina,fish and blobs of things. I felt so happy to be there. My highlight was having fun with my group and the volunteer to teach us.  

Pt England School Art Exhibition

 

Friday was just a normal day of school. We had assembly and everything but after morning tea was different. After Morning tea the whole of pt england school had an art Exhibition and if you don’t know what that means well it's similar to an art gallery so we set up the area and waited for Mr J to say we are able to look at the art. So our first area we went to was room 9 and 10 as room 678 walked across the school. I looked carefully for what kind of art I liked and once we got to team 5 I waited to look at the art and I saw art by room threes window which was an emoji. I loved team 5s art because they used the emoji to express their feelings. And this is my art about the patterns and what it represents.I also loved Room 6,7 and 8s art work.

Immersion Assembly

On Monday 14th October, Pt england school had an Immersion assembly because it was the first day back at school. All the students walked inside the hall and sat down waiting

for assembly to start. While the whole school was waiting Mr Jacobson was playing

his brother Mr J's remix.  I wonder what’s gonna happen next?

First Mr Burt said “Fakaalofa lahi atu!” and then he said “Our inquiry is Life’s a stage!” 

When he said it, I felt nervous because it said drama and dancing because I never liked

dancing.  Then I heard Mr Burt say "It’s time for team 1." The teachers did a video about
Cinderella. What I remembered was one of the four sisters saying the prince is looking for a good to dance at the ball.  

My favorite part of the Immersion assembly was team 4's performance because it was about
the Toyshop on Zipzap Avenue.  Because when I first watched it, I saw my little brother in it. He was a dinosaur and I really enjoyed it.  Team 4 teachers were acting four different things from the Toyshop production. They were Teddy bear, Woody, the Transformer and the Shopkeeper.

I found an article from kiwi kids news I was looking for something that will make

me Interested in and I saw one article that was talking about The golden toilet in britain.

The golden toilet got stolen from a gang and that gang also stole valuable

artwork in britain and that toilet was stolen from a 66 year old man and he got arrested.

But because of the burglary it was flooded and damaged because the toilet was plumed into the building.The police said that the golden toilet was famously offered to US  President Donald Trump in 2017 and that old man was in police custody.

Google's ghostly find

The Liverpool Seamen's Orphan Institution closed down in 1997 but Google Street View

is believed to have found evidence that the building is not completely abandoned…

An image of the orphanage appears to show the ghostly face of a child in the window. The creepy building was also once a hospital and mental asylum and is full of rusty beds and wheelchairs and their have been reports of voices from inside.

The child in the picture appears to be crying and their is said to be several cupboards in the corridor where children were locked in the dark when they misbehaved

Ned's kindness adventure

On Monday morning Pt England School lined up outside and walked to the hall when we all got into the hall Pt England School sat down. Then Pt England School watched a performance the performance was about Ned and Cosmo having a adventure at Kenya. Cosmo called out Caleb and Mia and asked them three Questions. Cosmo gave Caleb and Mia a prize after they answered the three questions and Mia got a Bracelet, Caleb got a necklace like Ned’s necklace but after that Cosmo Chose Branddon, Ana and Callanta to choose one of the Sentences Callanta chose a kindness sentences and Brandon chose people are important and then they got a prize like the rest of them did.

My animation voiceover

Hi my name is Fifita and my animation is about a kite flying in the air. Then the kite goes upon the clouds and shows the Four Forces of Flight.  Lift,drag,thrust and weight. Lift means an upward force.Drag means the force pushing against an object as it moves through the air. Thrust means a force that pushes an object forward. And weight means the earth’s gravity pulling down on an object.

Snowman and her friend stickman

Once upon. Time there was a snowman called Frosty and her bff  called Rose. Frosty lived in a cold cave and Rose lived in a warm house  made with tall sticks. Frosty had 2 long sticks for arms and 3 buttons for the middle of her body. And 2 for her eyes and rose was made with sticks. And had 1 small red circle nose.

First Rose went to Frosty when she was outside sitting on the bench playing with the snow on the bench she was sitting on. Then they went to frosty family. Rose saw a golden light flashing in the sky and it was a shiny present covered in gold. 

Next frosty and her family and rose went to the big house that was full of stuff then rose said to frosty’s family that they are going to have a little mit of fun.

Then Frosty’s family  and her friend hoped in the car and went back home.

After that  Frosty played with rose and Frosty ‘s family they all played with the snow outside and they were throwing the snow at each other.

Finally they went to bed and lived happily ever after.

Mere and her best friend Faintail

Once upon a time there was a girl could mere and her friend a  Faintail and they all lived in a beautiful dark bush with kouir trees and stunning flax bush.

One sunny morning Mere and Faintail went out to catch some food.

The Faintail got lost in the forest.

The Faintail went the wrong way to the bush to catch some food.

When Mere finally founded the way out.

Faintail and Mere got to beautiful bush full of strawberry's   Mere got  her kete and put the strawberry's in when she was finshed she went home and her mother said thank you Mere for the strawberry's.

Cross country

On Friday we had start the school cross country. First we lined up and we looked for the chir that said year 3girls so we can we can sit by the chir in a line. Next we sat and waited. Then it was our turn and i was really nevars about racking we went up . Finally Mr Burt got the wooded clapper and clapped it then l ran then I walked and l came 8th. The End
