6AM: I left the house on my own, wrapped up in my warmest coat (which I wear every day) to make the 3km trip. I met up with other children from my village, and we huddled together beneath the mountain to keep warm, waiting for the last couple of stragglers to arrive. As soon as we were all together, two of the dads put their sledges and emergency packs on their backs, and we set off for school…

On their way to school one boy tripped over a gigantic pile of snow instead of looking where he was walking.

He got up and kept on walking with the rest of the children but he hurt himself when he fell

because there were rocks under the snow. As he was walking along with the others he stopped walking till

he got to the end of the line. He was feeling pain on his legs. Once he got to the end of the line he was

gonna talk to one of the dads for a plaster from the emergency box. The dad in the back said “are you fine”

the child said “ no I hurt my legs when I fell on the snow because there were rocks under them”. They

were almost  close to school. They just needed to take 40 or 30 steps then they made it to school. The poor child got the plaster before his sore even began to bleed.

8 bit art

I made a emoji using 8 bit art. It was very hard to make I had fun doing it is well. I made it by making the background black and made a circle after that I filled in the circle did the eyes the cheeks and saved the hardest for last which is the mouth. I coloured the rest last.

Camp Thank you Letter

 WALT: write a thank you letter to a person.

In week 7,we had year 5 and 6 camp.There were heaps of helpers. I have written a letter to say thank you to Mr Burt. 

Immersion Assembly

On Monday 14th October, Pt england school had an Immersion assembly because it was the first day back at school. All the students walked inside the hall and sat down waiting

for assembly to start. While the whole school was waiting Mr Jacobson was playing

his brother Mr J's remix.  I wonder what’s gonna happen next?

First Mr Burt said “Fakaalofa lahi atu!” and then he said “Our inquiry is Life’s a stage!” 

When he said it, I felt nervous because it said drama and dancing because I never liked

dancing.  Then I heard Mr Burt say "It’s time for team 1." The teachers did a video about
Cinderella. What I remembered was one of the four sisters saying the prince is looking for a good to dance at the ball.  

My favorite part of the Immersion assembly was team 4's performance because it was about
the Toyshop on Zipzap Avenue.  Because when I first watched it, I saw my little brother in it. He was a dinosaur and I really enjoyed it.  Team 4 teachers were acting four different things from the Toyshop production. They were Teddy bear, Woody, the Transformer and the Shopkeeper.

The golden toilet that got stolen in Britain

I found an article from kiwi kids news I was looking for something that will make

me Interested in and I saw one article that was talking about The golden toilet in britain.

The golden toilet got stolen from a gang and that gang also stole valuable

artwork in britain and that toilet was stolen from a 66 year old man and he got arrested.

But because of the burglary it was flooded and damaged because the toilet was plumed into the building.The police said that the golden toilet was famously offered to US  President Donald Trump in 2017 and that old man was in police custody.
