Today I learnt about 5 different biomes. What is a biome? A biome are five major types. Grassland, forest,desert,aquatic and tundra all these biomes have different animals the live under the land or on the land. The biome I like the most is the aquatic biome because it has lots of fishes and other sea creatures that some people have never seen and only in photos. This is one creature from the aquatic biome. this sea creature is a sunfish. A sunfish like a shark but without a tail they are very huge that they are the heaviest bony fish in the world. They can grow over 10 feet long and more than 8 feet from fin to fin. Sun fish don't have tails because instead of a tail they have structure called a clavus. A sunfishes life span is up to ten years in cavity.
This is my homework and I chose to do the Olympic high jump and Weight lifting.
First I will be doing High jump. In my own words I would say that the two men who were competing in high jump were friends out and in the olympics. When one of them got injured and couldn't make the jump of so his friend asked if they can share the gold instead of having a jump of. And the official said "That is Possible". Barshim nodded and Tamberi started clapping. (Gianmarco Tamberi and Mutaz Barshim won Gold)
Last is Weight lifting David Liti is in the Men's super Heavyweight Weightlifting. David Ltit Came 5th in the super heavyweight division. But Georgian broke his own snatch world record in lifting 223 kg. He said "He felt happy and it was fun for a first time." His third attempt to crack 241 kg was a fail but he wants to come back and win Gold. (David Liti came 5th.)

On Tuesday the 27th of july we went to aggs for a production. The name of the production is "Footloose". In the morning we had reading then after reading we had our lunch and after we had lunch we went on the buses with our classes. Once we got there we walked into there theater and sat in our spots. I sat on the left side in the front the people sitting next to me were Nature and Marytina. I would say that the production was romantic and funny. The main characters were Red and Arial. My favourite part of the production was when Red saved Arial from her abusive boyfriend chuck.
This is my writing about team 5's trip to Aggs.
On Friday we had a magic show and part of it was about what should be on our plate. On the plate was Dairy,Protein,Vegetable,Fruit and Crain's. The first thing he did was put fire on a book then he put fire in a hat to. A few minutes during the show he got a box and showed us and it was empty then he put a rubix cube inside of it and shked it then he took it out and it was done then he did it again and it was all yellow the same thing again but instead of a rubix cube he asked for a volunteer then he said to the little boy to move his hand on top of the box then coins fell out and he did the same but it was 5 dollar notes then 20 dollar notes then to went to 100 dollar note. The last thing he did was he got put flowers in a pot then got a rabbit out

So last week on wednesday the year 7s went to Matheson bay with a few teachers. One of my highlights was with Miss Hill on friday we were making truffles.My second highlight was on wednesday with the volunteers when we were snorkeling. And my second to last favourite highlight was on Friday after launch we had a movie on and ate lollies. Now for my last highlight was with Miss Stone we had to work as a team and get the ball into the cup.
Yesterday I went to Matheson bay with some teachers and year 7 students. My Buddie for the bus was Kamryn. I learnt that if the water was cold then the fish will die from heat. When we were snorkeling I looked down in the water and saw kina,fish and blobs of things. I felt so happy to be there. My highlight was having fun with my group and the volunteer to teach us.
So the book I chose was on https://storylineonline.net/ its called Library lion. I paused the video to write what I think would happen next.
So what happened was when the lady started reading a book the lion came in to listen but the lady reading the book was complaining because the lion wouldn't leave the library so she called the lady that works there and said "The lion won't leave the library"then the worker said "But there are no rules about lions in the library". So I think that the lion waited until the next storytime and played while waiting
This Challenge enabled us to use google presentations to create an animation of a boat moving across the sea.

Letter Writing
When Jacinda Ardern came and visited us, she asked our class if we could write letters to her and talk about problems we see in our school/community or New Zealand.
